The league currently runs the Divisional Cups and the Veterans Cup (Frank Murphy Memorial Trophy) competitions.
The divisional cup competition is a straight forward knockout competition between teams from the same division, there being five divisions in all. The matches comprise of nine singles in divisions one and two, while division three, four and five play eight singles and one doubles. There being no replays!
In the ever popular Vets competition each 40+ year old player receives a fixed handicap for the season. This season sees the fifth year of the new handicap system which is designed to allow the players from the lower divisions a chance to pick up some cup honours. Teams consist of three a side playing 9 sets, 2 games per set up to 21. This should provide plenty of interesting results with teams consisting of mid range handicaps proving difficult to beat.
